Learning from past data to better analyze the future possibilities helps many organizations, companies and service providers. There are several ways to do predictive analysis in Power BI from creating visuals to performing predictive analysis in Powe Query. In this session, an overview of what is predictive analysis, what is the main process of doing prediction, what are the different type of predictions such a classification, regression and forecasting will be explained. Moreover, the custom visuals that can be useful for predictive analysis will be introduced. The process of running a predictive analysis in Power Query will be explained. In addition, how we can forecast the data based on the time series model in Power Query and reporting area will be demonstrated.
